We share our coolest books, merch, and industry tips with our BFFs, so you will receive:

• New books that have not yet been released to the public
• Published books from awesome “undiscovered” authors
• Access to exclusive giveaway
• One-of-a-kind contest opportunities
• Insider tips about upcoming literary events
• Meaningful opportunities to connect with authors, publishers, influencers, and world-changing causes

Nope! We cover the cost of books, merch, and shipping, so there’s no charge to our BFFs. Your participation (not your credit card) is all that’s required. By becoming a BFF, you are committing to posting your honest thoughts about the books you receive on schedule.

No! We are looking for readers who are passionate about the same things as us: books that help move the world forward. There will be opportunities for all kinds of bloggers and social media changemakers, regardless of your follower count.

Yes! We represent authors from all over the world, so naturally we want to connect with influencers, readers, and friends all over the world too! We invite you to become a BFF regardless of what country you reside in.

Sometimes we're able to mail physical books outside of the U.S., and we can always share ebooks with our international BFFs!

We will carefully review the information you sent us, particularly your online presence and requested genres. If selected, we will send you a confirmation email to welcome you on board. Note that we review applications in the order we receive them; sometimes we receive dozens and even hundreds at a time! Please be patient--we WILL get back to you!

Once approved, you’ll receive a monthly email newsletter detailing which books, giveaways, contests, and other opportunities we have going on for the genres you’re interested in. When you’ve selected and notified us about which opportunities you’re interested in (and can commit to), we’ll send you the books and necessary info you need to get started. It’s that simple!

There will be times when we have only a limited number of physical copies of a book or pieces swag, and we want to be fair to all of our BFFs. The more you consistently engage with us and post reviews on time, the more we'll be able to engage with you.

We will send you an email within two weeks of filling out the form to let you know if you've been picked!

We represent most genres, so there will be plenty to choose from!

Each book review opportunity will come with a requested timeline. And we ask that you share your honest reviews about the books you love on as many platforms as you're active. The more you share, the more chances you have to win monthly giveaways!

After you’ve posted about the book, feel free to keep it forever (perhaps in a designated "new fave" spot on your shelf?), give it to a friend, or (our personal favorite) donate it to a literacy center, shelter, or other great cause!

We certainly understand that not every book is a good fit for every person. We do hope to connect readers with books they will love, but if you aren't so excited about a particular one, please do just email us with your honest feedback and we'll understand why you prefer not to post something. Perhaps if it's a message/mission you really believe in, you'd still consider some sort of spotlight feature on the book that isn't in the form of a review.

Currently, we do not offer any paid opportunities. But we do offer lots of awesome free books, giveaways, and insider tips. We also offer opportunities to connect with cool authors and new friends, and to engage with world-changing causes. Oh, and we can also provide great binge TV recommendations, snarky pop culture commentary, and a fantastic sense of humor.

Yes! We love books, and we love people who love books, so the more opportunities to engage, the better!

Reading inspires creativity, increases our ability to empathize and connect, and facilitates the free exchange of ideas. At Books Forward, we're striving to promote voices that encourage positive social influence. By sharing books we love, we hope to build a strong community of fellow readers and changemakers who not only enjoy sharing their favorite authors (and discovering new ones!), but who are also interested in doing good in the world.

We require that you post your review on an account dedicated to books and book reviews. We don't mind if your only followers right now are your mom and your dog, but we do prefer influencers who have been reviewing books on a books-dedicated platform for at least a couple months before signing up.

And we hope if you love a book that you will also post your review to Goodreads, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
