As a publicist, Allison Punch-Turner brings a decade of client-facing experience to help Books Forward authors feel heard and supported throughout their publicity campaigns. Her background as a bookstagrammer offers unique insights into best practices for social media and influencer marketing, and she loves working collaboratively with authors to get their work into the hands of excited readers.
Previously, Allison worked as an event planner, programming events including Old Town Books’ 2019 Emerging Writers Festival, and she loves incorporating creative or unique touches of local culture to craft intentional and meaningful gatherings.
As author of her biweekly newsletter, Allison Part-Time, Allison loves to highlight underrepresented authors and reads that excite her.
Originally from Michigan, Allison lives outside of Washington, D.C., with her wife and husky mix, Max where she works as a yoga instructor. As a proud member of the Let’s Go Buy Tickets community, Allison can often be found at a concert.
